tarangire(destination) safaris

With a land size of 2,600 square kilometers and a ranking of sixth in Tanzania, the Tarangire National Park is mainly known for its enormous herds of elephants and its mini-wildlife migration, which occurs during the dry season and brings over 250,000 animals into the park.

The park lies between the meadows of Masai Steppe to the south east and the lakes of the Great Rift Valley to the north and west. The permanent Tarangire River is the most dominant feature here which gives its green color to the vegetation around the park.
