Day 1; Arusha-Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast depart Arusha around 07:30 hours and drive to Lake Manyara National Park (Total area of 648 km2 / Elevation 945m above sea level) Lake Manyara Park provides the perfect introduction to Tanzania birdlife. More than 400 species have been recorded, and even a first-time visitor to Africa might reasonably expect to observe 100 of these in one day. Inland of the floodplain, a narrow belt of acacia woodland is the favored haunt of Manyara legendary tree- climbing lions and impressively tusked elephants. Packed lunch at the picnic site and later on ascend the Rift Valley Wall to Karatu for dinner and overnight at Africa Safari Karatu.
Day 2; Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast enter the Ngorongoro Conservation area and descend 610m from the crater rim to the crater floor The Crater is famous for Africa best game viewing as there is an ever-present abundance of wildlife due to the permanent water supply on the crater floor. Spot the endangered black rhino, wildebeest, buffalo, zebra, eland, Grant & Thomson gazelle & giant tusked elephants plus. To be served packed lunch at picnic site beside the hippo lake and later on ascend from the crater floor and drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight.
Day 3; Tarangire National Park-Arusha Town
Breakfast at the lodge, thereafter drive to Tarangire National Park (Total area of 2850km2/ Elevation 900m-1100m above sea level) The Tarangire River is the primary source of fresh water for wild animals in the Tarangire Ecosystem during the annual dry season. The Tarangire Ecosystem is defined by the long-distance migration of wildebeest and zebras. The park is famous for its high density of elephants and baobab trees. Other common resident animals include waterbuck, giraffe, dik-dik, impala, eland, Grant -gazelle, vervet monkey, banded mongoose, and olive baboon. Game drive inside the park with packed lunch at the picnic site and later on drive to Arusha before dark.
