5 Days tour Tarangire,Serengeti, Ngorongoro crater and lake Manyara safaris. The safari will take you around the best places in Tanzania, visiting places such as Lake Manyara which is famous for its tree climbing lions, The Ngorongoro Crater which is known also as the Garden of Eden, Serengeti National Park and Tarangire National Park.
Day 1: Tarangire National Park
Morning:
Breakfast at 0730am. Pick up from your hotel in Moshi/Arusha at 0900am to Tarangire where Start your day with an early morning game drive in Tarangire National Park. Witness the sunrise over the vast savannah as you search for Elephants, Lions, and an array of bird species.
Afternoon:
Head to Tarangire River for a picnic lunch. Enjoy the unique experience of watching animals gather at the river to quench their thirst. In the afternoon, explore more of the park, encountering herds of Zebras, wildebeests, and perhaps the elusive leopard.
Evening:
Dinner and overnight at Jambo Lodge or Fig tree lodge
Day 2: Serengeti National Park
Morning:
Travel to Serengeti National Park, a world-renowned wildlife haven. Begin your day with a morning game drive, encountering the vast herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles that roam the Serengeti plains.
Afternoon:
Pause for a picnic lunch and absorb the panoramic views of the Serengeti. In the afternoon, continue your exploration, tracking the Big Five and witnessing the incredible diversity of wildlife in the park.
Evening:
Dinner and overnight at Seronera Campsite.
Day 3: Serengeti National Park Full Day
Full Day:
After breakfast, a morning game drive will take you through the Serengeti National Park with a stop at the famous Oldupai Gorge, where Dr. Louis and Mary Leakey made their discovery of the first man that walked the earth. After a short lecture describing the archeological digs and geology of the gorge, you will have time to visit the small museum and enjoy lunch.
Evening:
Dinner and overnight at Seronera Campsite.
Day 4: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
Morning:
After breakfast you will drive to the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive. The jewel in Ngorongoro’s crown, this thick volcanic crater is the most significant unfolded and unbroken caldera in the world. Upon descending to the crater floor, you will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner of the crater, which is one of the crater’s leading features. A large number of flamingos, hippo and other water birds can be seen here.
Afternoon:
You will enjoy lunch near the lake and then embark on an afternoon game drive inside the crater before ascending back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Evening:
Dinner and overnight at Simba Campsite.
Day 5: Lake Manyara National Park
Morning:
Breakfast at 0700am. Pick up from the Lodge at 0800am and begin your day with a scenic drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Explore the diverse landscapes, from the shores of the lake to the dense forests. Keep an eye out for the famous tree-climbing lions and the abundant birdlife.
Afternoon:
Pause for a leisurely picnic lunch within the park. Continue your exploration, encountering Elephants, Giraffes, and the playful troops of Baboons that inhabit the area. This small park contains also five distinct vegetation zones. Thus, supporting a large variety of birds and animals. The Manyara National Park is also famous for its large flocks of flamingos.
Evening:
Drop off in Moshi/Arusha or at the airport.
