Lemosho Route 8 Days, 7 nights Lemosho Kilimanjaro Climbing is a premium route for Kilimanjaro climb and trek provided from 6 to 8 days. Climbing through different climate zones it starts on heaths and winds further across alpine meadows to ascend to the arctic zone near Uhuru Peak. The descent, in turn, passes through rainforest. All this makes this route the most scenic on Kilimanjaro. Lemosho offers the smoothest acclimatization and the highest success rates of 85%, 90% and 95% for 6, 7 and 8-days tours, respectively. The total distance covered on Lemosho Route is 46km (28.5 miles). Kilimanjaro on foot recommends this trail for those ready to pay a bit extra for high-altitude drop off by a vehicle

Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), where you will meet a dreamscape Travel representative, and transfer you to Moshi town where you will spend the first night at the hotel.

Lemosho Glades (2,385m/7,825ft) to Mti Mkubwa Camp (2,750m/9,022ft)
Activity: Your Kilimanjaro adventure begins with a drive to the Londorossi Gate, where you'll complete park formalities. Then, you'll drive to the Lemosho Glades for the starting point of your hike. The trail takes you through lush rainforests.

Activity: Today's hike includes a challenging ascent to Lava Tower, a volcanic formation. This provides excellent acclimatization, and you'll descend to Barranco Camp for the night.

Activity: Summit Day! An early start (midnight) takes you to Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa. Descend to Mweka Camp for a well-deserved rest.
Hiking Time: 7-8 hours to the summit, then 5-7 hours descent
Distance: Approximately 5km to the summit, 12km descent
